Stage Directing ($99) – Presented by Anna Kerrigan (FOR PARTICIPANTS AGED 18+)
This master class explores different approaches to directing. It will help directors gain the most from their performers while allowing actors to be artists. The master class will be presented as a mixture of practical and discussion activities and also into tips on script interpretation and directing for different spaces.
HSC Drama Teaching ($150) – Presented by Tahnae Luke (FOR PARTICIPANTS AGED 18+)
This master class gives teachers the tips for helping students to achieve top marks in the HSC drama performance elements. Unpack the marking criteria and learn the do's and don'ts that will support your students when developing their group performance and individual project performance. The actions of Devising, Reflecting and Collaborating are the concepts of this professional development.
Writing for the Stage ($99) – Presented by Vanessa Bates (FOR PARTICIPANTS AGED 18+)
This master class will inspire experienced and emerging playwrights. Participants in this master class will learn tips and strategies for writing engaging stories for the stage. Additional advice will be provided on how to approach producers and theatre companies to pitch scripts you have written.

Stage Acting ($99) – Presented by Tyran Parke (FOR PARTICIPANTS AGED 18+)
Actors participating in this master class will work through the actor’s role in interpreting the character to inform physical and vocal choices in your performance. Get guidance and tips from one of Australia’s leading teaching artists, an invaluable experience for any actor.
Producer’s Master Class ($99)– Presented by Nick Atkins (FOR PARTICIPANTS AGED 18+)
From community to co-op to indie to professional, Running the Show is a chance to flesh out what you want to do and how you might go about taking the next steps. We’ll cover a range of topics including pitching, programming, budgeting, funding and touring. We’ll talk about motivations, expectations and strategies for joining the dots between vision and reality.
Technical Design Master Class ($99) – Presented by Jacob Harwood (FOR PARTICIPANTS AGED 18+)
This master class will inspire lighting and audio visual stage designers. The focus of the master class will be understanding how new technologies can enhance your production design to create atmosphere and mood that accompanies other elements of your production concept.
Emerging Artists Master Class ($99) – Presented by Derek Walker (FOR PARTICIPANTS AGED 13-18)
Students aged 13 to 18 are invited to participate in a performance industry master class. Participants will learn skills based on the elements of drama and collaborate with like-minded peers. Students will learn exploration-based acting approaches, which is a methodology currently being taught at leading training institutions around the world.
