About the Show

SHOPTALK is a new(castle) original musical comedy exploring the trials, tribulations, and absurdities of customer service, with a book and lyrics by Jack Madden, songs by Imogen Bilinsky, and additional music and arrangements by Page Maitland. The plot follows new girl Molly as she is inducted into a dysfunctional team of young adults who try to deliver service with a smile, all the while contending with burnout, unrequited workplace crushes, and their own demons (sometimes literal). With gossip running wild, and even murder on the mind, how can they hope to overcome their personal dramas and get their damn work done?
