About the Show

Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim follows the Baker and the Baker’s Wife as they enter the Woods to secure their wish – to have a baby. Only the Woods have their own intentions – to secure more servants by seducing visitors with their wishes. Along the way, the Baker and his wife meet beloved fairytale characters who expose both the lighter and darker side of our human nature and experiences. They need to determine who has been ensnared by the Woods and who is trying to help them before they themselves become a part of the Wood’s entity. The characters learn that the Woods take from them as much as they take from it, but does it really matter when you have everything you’ve always wished for?
