Enter the magical world of North Wood, it’s what you would expect from any magical, fairytale kingdom … Well, okay, maybe it isn’t exactly what you would expect. North Wood has all the classic fairytale characters you know and love, beautifully portraited, just not quite as beautifully as you might remember them. Join Norman, as he enters a new world, where the three little pigs are waiting for their local building inspector to approve all their hard work, the biggest baddest wolves are trying to go vegan, Goldilocks is planning her latest heist to steal a golden goose, Hansel and Gretel are selling real estate and Lil’ Red Riding Hood’s Grandma was a 1970’s World Wrestling Champion. Standing Tree Collective, known for their incredible family-based shows, have once again brought their iconic humour and imagination to life, in this amazing new show. Norman’s heartfelt journey has something for everything, using the magic of storytelling and some classic tales to enthral audiences and challenge them to question the power of imagination, in a world that might just be forgetting its immense value.
