A buddy-tale with a twist: they’re dead. All Kevin wanted was to hang out with his mate Dale. Sadly, they’re in a fatal accident (not a spoiler, its very early on) which lands them on The Other Side. But eternity does not afford them the hang-time they might’ve hoped. It turns out making it to Heaven isn’t enough - if you want to get into the nice section, you’re going to have to prove your worth. ‘Dale and Kevin go to Heaven’ is an otherworldly journey in which Kevin tries to find Dale, Dale tries to find himself, and both attempt to worm their way into the Inner Ring. Newcastle playwrights Jared Mainey and Theo Rule have written and star in this farcical three-hander alongside local favourite Megan Kennedy. Playing multiple deities and pushing multiple buttons, they’re on a mission to produce the greatest play of all time. Running time 90mins no interval
