About the Show
Winner of the 1948 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire is the tale of a catastrophic confrontation between fantasy and reality, embodied in the characters of Blanche DuBois and Stanley Kowalski.
Danny Shaunessy directs Tennessee Williams' steamy and shocking landmark drama, often hailed as one of the most influential plays of the twentieth century.
Content Warning: A Streetcar Named Desire contains strong language, violence and references to alcoholism, mental illness, suicide, racism and sexual assault.Running time: Approximately 3 hours including a 20 minute interval (subject to change).
