About the Show

How does an idea grow into a story and where does the idea come from to begin with? In A Pocketful of Stories, an author and their ideas weave six imaginative tales, ie. The Pocket, Pip, Koo-Koo Gossip, The Plok, Poppy’s Pond and Tamiko. In the telling of these stories, the audience will meet many lovable characters such as the fashionable ladybug, a theatrical possum and a pop-star sea-turtle! Accompanied by delightful songs, the cast and audience will shimmy and bop along together. This colourful production will inspire storytellers of all ages to explore the world around them and create wonderful stories of their own.
